Before you begin
- Find a comfortable, low-distraction space. This practice is done standing, usually barefoot. You’ll need a space about the size of a yoga mat.
- Dress comfortably. You’ll be moving a bit more than last week, so wear something that doesn’t restrict your movement. That includes too-tight compression clothing!
- Don’t strive for perfection. This type of practice is probably new to you. Don’t worry! It doesn’t have to be done perfectly to be effective. Follow along, like a dance – it’ll be fine!
- Adapt as needed. If it’s hard for you to stand for 10 minutes, you can sit in a chair and just do the arm motions. If any one movement goes on too long, just pause and rest until the next movement starts.
