Description
If wildfires have your lungs and throat raw and scratchy and your mood frazzled, give this one a try. It’s full of demulcents (internal tissue moisturizers), gentle sinus-clearers, and comforting herbs to help you relax. The overall flavor is sweet and delicate, and it goes great with honey – which has throat-soothing properties of its own.
Instructions:
Spoon one tablespoon of loose tea blend into the included paper tea bag. (Mullein has fine hairs that can irritate, so use the paper bag, not a tea ball or strainer.) Pull drawstring tight and steep in a cup of water for 3-5 minutes or longer. You can also make it by the pot and pour it through a paper coffee filter into a clean jar and store in the fridge. Drink cold or reheat, as desired.
Ingredients:
- Mullein leaf
- Plantain leaf
- Marshmallow leaf
- Ground ivy leaf
- Chamomile flower
- Tulsi leaf and flower
Small pack includes enough tea and bags to make about 10 cups of tea. Large bag = 2.5 small bags.
