Description
Demulcent and hyper-hydrating for all your innards. Brew it cold, then boil, and keep a pitcher in the fridge all summer long – especially if smoky skies have you feeling parched. Also good made into ice cubes to drop into plain or sparkling water. Larger 1 oz bag lets you brew it strong!
Ingredients: Marshmallow root, hibiscus flower, orange peel, violet leaf and flower, and ginger root
Directions: 2-3tsp per cup of water. Brew in room-temperature water overnight (use 4 Tbl per 4 cups water), then boil briefly and steep 5 more minutes for best results. Can also be brewed like a regular tea, but will have less demulcent (moisturizing) effect. Drink hot, cold, or make into ice cubes for adding some extra hydration to water, juice, or cold tea.
