October is winecap mushroom season! I planted these last year and they look like they are about to start a nice fall run. The flavor and texture are somewhere between a portobello and a shiitake.

They need to be picked up (McKinley north of Chelsea) the day they are picked. Price is $16/lb and I aim to sell them in 8-Oz bags, though it’ll vary depending on that day’s harvest.
