An aromatic but not overly-sweet blend that tastes like fall. This blend was inspired by the bounty of the fall harvest and the transition into the festive season. I was able to harvest raspberry leaves from Jacob’s Fresh Farm and apples from several no-spray trees in my neighborhood. Then I added rose hips and hibiscus for vitamin C and brightness, marshmallow leaf to balance the raspberry astringency, and a big scoop of cider mulling spice to bring it all together!
Ingredients: Dried apples, rose hips, hawthorn leaf and flower, raspberry leaf, mulling spice (cinnamon, allspice, orange and lemon peel, nutmeg, star anise, cloves, fenugreek, ginger), hibiscus, marshmallow leaf
Directions: 2 tsp per cup of water. Steep 5-7 minutes.
